Pecu Novus 3.0: Themis Upgrade Phase 3

Pecu Team

The Pecu Novus 3.0 Themis upgrade began on September 24, 2025, marking the start of a major evolution in the network’s architecture and long‑term capabilities. This initial phase focused on preparing the protocol for deeper interoperability, higher‑fidelity data and more transparent financial‑grade operations. It was the foundation for a multi‑stage upgrade cycle designed to modernize the Pecu Novus blockchain from the ground up.
Phase 2 of the Themis upgrade launched in March 2026, introducing one of the most important advancements in Pecu Novus history: native ERC‑20/EVM compatibility at the protocol level. This was not a surface‑level integration or a compatibility wrapper , it was a full protocol‑layer enhancement that allows Ethereum‑style smart contracts and tokens to operate seamlessly on Pecu Novus. This step alone opened the door for institutional interoperability and cross‑chain financial product development.
Currently, Phase 3 is in motion and continues with the integration of high‑fidelity smart‑contract data, enabling the immutable creation of financial products that require precise, transparent, and auditable on‑chain information. This includes portable perpetual tokens, synthetic assets, hybrid collateralized instruments, and other advanced financial structures. The inclusion of treasuries in total value locked (TVL) is part of this transparency initiative, ensuring that collateralization and backing can be independently verified by anyone.
Another major component of Phase 3 is the reduction of gas fees to 125 basis points (0.125%), regardless of network congestion. This deterministic fee model provides predictable costs for financial applications and cross‑border payment systems, making Pecu Novus more efficient and more suitable for institutional‑grade operations.
The upgrade also includes significant enhancements to the RPC layer, which now exposes rich, high‑fidelity blockchain metadata for maximum transparency. These RPC improvements are available through Chainlist and are essential for explorers, wallets, auditors, and DeFi indexers that rely on accurate on‑chain data.
Due to the scale and depth of the Themis upgrade, decentralized exchanges such as HootDex have experienced delays in merging their trading data with DeFiLlama and other aggregators. With Phase 3 nearing completion, these integrations will begin soon, bringing Pecu Novus activity into broader visibility across the DeFi ecosystem.
The ongoing institutional efforts within the Ethereum network further support Pecu Novus’ mission, and the protocol‑level EVM integration ensures that Pecu Novus can participate in, and benefit from, these developments. Pecu Novus remains committed to being a beacon for financial product creation, cross‑border payment integration, and global blockchain utility.
We thank you for your continued support as we advance through the innovation lifecycle of Pecu Novus and continue building a transparent, interoperable, and financially powerful blockchain ecosystem.
