The Pecu Novus Blockchain is entering an exciting new phase, and we wanted to take a moment to share what’s ahead and why it matters. In April 2026, we’ll be rolling out ERC-20 and EVM compatibility directly at the protocol level. This has been a long time coming and it reflects years of development focused on one goal and that is building a blockchain that isn’t just fast and efficient, but truly ready for real-world financial applications.
Since 2017, our approach has been deliberate and 2022 was pivotal as that marked an era of extreme upgrades to the blockchain, from the transition to RUST to now the integration of GoLang and ERC-20/EVM compatibility, to increased speed and utility . We didn’t rush to follow trends, we focused on building core infrastructure that could support institutional-grade use cases from the ground up. We weren’t focused on social media posts or hype hence the lightness on the social media front, we were focused on prioritizing speed, scalability, low fees and deterministic settlement. Along the way, we’ve continued to refine and upgrade the network so it can support everything from remittance systems to real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and advanced financial infrastructure. Now, by integrating standards widely adopted through ecosystems like Ethereum, we’re opening the door to greater interoperability, without compromising the performance that defines Pecu Novus.
So why does this upgrade matter?
Because it makes building and participating in this ecosystem easier than ever. Developers will be able to bring over tools, smart contracts and token standards they already know, and deploy them within a faster, more cost-efficient environment. Institutions can engage with familiar frameworks while leveraging infrastructure designed for scale and reliability. And for the broader community, it means access, access to more assets, more applications and more opportunities to build. The infrastructure is also designed to be flexible, allowing businesses to integrate their own pathways to accepting PECU and other tokens built on Pecu Novus, including stablecoins and specialized financial instruments, in a way that fits their specific needs.
We also want to make this as open and collaborative as possible. As we move toward the rollout, we’re not just looking for participation, we’re looking for global participation. We want developers, institutions and innovators from African nations, South American countries, developing economies and established markets alike to get involved. This isn’t about building for one region, it’s about building something that works everywhere. Whether you’re contributing code through GitHub, launching applications or exploring new financial models, your perspective matters. The strength of this network will come from the diversity of the people building on it.
At its core, this upgrade is about connection, connecting Pecu Novus to a broader global standard, connecting developers to new opportunities and connecting real-world financial systems to blockchain infrastructure that’s ready to support them. Our goal is to make Pecu Novus one of the most powerful and widely adopted blockchains in the world and that’s not something we can do alone.
It’s something we build together.
